When Standard Pressure Washing Isn't Enough
Oil from a leaking vehicle, rust from metal furniture or pipes, and grease from outdoor cooking all penetrate deep into concrete pores. Once embedded, these stains can't be removed with pressure and water alone. They require targeted chemical treatment that breaks the bond between the stain and the concrete at the molecular level.
Northrock Exteriors uses professional-grade, biodegradable concrete degreasers and rust removers specifically formulated for exterior concrete. Our process is safe for surrounding plant life and yard drainage, and it produces dramatically better results than consumer-grade products.
Stains We Treat
- Motor oil and transmission fluid leaks
- Grease and cooking oil
- Hydraulic fluid stains
- Iron and mineral rust stains
- Paint and chemical spills (case by case)
- Tire mark and rubber transfer stains
Our Process
Our oil and rust stain removal process includes a pre-treatment application of the appropriate chemical agent, a dwell time to allow it to penetrate and break down the stain, and then hot water pressure washing to extract the stain and cleaning agent from the concrete. Severe or very old stains may require multiple treatment passes.
Note: While we achieve excellent results in nearly all cases, some extremely old or very deep stains may not be fully removable — we'll always give you an honest assessment before we begin and charge accordingly.
